Everything Is Possible for Him Who Believes (Mark 9:23)
Mark 9:23 says “everything is possible for him who believes.” This is not my word. This is the Word of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is saying, if you can? If you believe in Me you can do all things, that there’s nothing that is impossible.
That’s why I always say that there’s no such thing as impossibility. There only exist the thought of impossibility. This is because we’re created in the image of God. It says that nothing is impossible with God. Then, if we’re created in His image, nothing must be impossible with us, also. The Bible I have and the Bible you have are identical. The God whom I believe and the God whom you believe are identical. Is there a difference between the Son of God I believe, and the Son of God, Jesus Christ whom you believe?
But in all problems, there is a source, a cause of that problem. If the cause of that problem is not removed, the problem can’t ever be resolved. Although you were all created as beings to which all things are possible, the reason why all things are not possible for you is because your thoughts are rotten. Here lies the problem. Because you have rotten thoughts, because you say to yourself that it’s impossible, you’re only left with impossible results. That’s why Jeremiah says, in Jeremiah 6:19, that it was the fruits of their thoughts.
Many impose limitation on themselves: No, I can’t do it, that’s impossible. But God can’t lie. God keeps His promises. You can’t because you say that you can’t. It’s impossible for you because you say it’s impossible. You have finalized the outcome. You have placed limitations on yourself: God created me in His image, and all things are possible for God, but I’m not a child of God. You’re saying that you’re a child of man.
But the Bible says that the Son of God is God. Then, Jesus Christ is God because He is the Son of God. The son of man is a man. The offspring of a dog is a dog, and the offspring of a cow is a cow. But John 1:12 says that to those who believe in His name, He gives the right to become children of God, children not born of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.
All of you have received Jesus. Then, you have become children of God. Then, the child of God is God. But you live as if you’re a man. You live as if you’re an animal. You say that you can’t, that it’s impossible. It’s impossible for the children of man. But to the children of God, all things are possible. Rotten thoughts will give birth to rotten results. You must possess the mindset of children of God in order for you to manifest the power of God. But you possess the mindset of the children of man, even though you have been born of water and Spirit, even though you have become a child of God.
Because you continue to live as children of man, there are limitations. There is no limit for God. There is no impossible for God. If you have become children of God, aren’t you God? We can’t become God the Father. However, we are sons and daughters. The child of man is a man, and the father is also a man. It’s the same way with us. Jesus is the Son of God. We, too, are sons and daughters of God. Is there a difference?
Jesus is without sin. Therefore He received the Holy Spirit. We, on the other hand, are sinners. But by believing in Jesus we’ve become sinless. Therefore, we have received the Holy Spirit. By that Spirit, we call God Abba Father. Then the power of Jesus is also our power. Because pastors don’t know this, they’re incapable. This is why they’re not empowered. Jesus Christ came to this land and proclaimed that you’re made in the image of God, if you believe in Me, you will become children of God. John 14:12 says, if you have faith in Me, you will do what I have been doing, and even greater things. Why don’t you believe this? Instead, you draw limitations on yourself. No, I can’t. It’s impossible. I can’t find it. It’ll never be given to me. It won’t open even if I knock. No, I can’t. I can’t do it. All of these are the result of your rotten thoughts.
A child of man, in his younger years, can’t do the things that his parents do. However, when he becomes of age, he does even greater things than his parents. Likewise, we’re the children of God, but with little faith, we can’t do much. But when the faith matures, we can equally manifest the power of God that was with Jesus. That’s why we praise the name of Jesus. Jesus has taught us this method.
Ask yourself whether you can’t or you don’t. It’s not that you can’t, you don’t. You don’t cast out demons. You don’t lay hands, you don’t speak in tongues. You don’t, you refuse to receive the Holy Spirit. That is why you have failed. We’re all created in His image and therefore possess infinite potential, and it depends on whether or not you develop that potential.
Who did you learn from? If educated by a man, you become a man. If educated by God, you become a God. Jesus Christ, the Son of God was God, and those who were educated by Him were equally empowered like God. If a man lives among dogs, he becomes a dog. If educated by dogs and pigs, he becomes like dogs and pigs. If educated by a fool, you become a fool. If educated by someone knowledgeable, you become knowledgeable. If educated by a wise, you become wise. If educated by someone who’s empowered, you will be empowered. Therefore, Jesus asks who it is that you have learned from. Apostle Paul asks who it is that you have learned from.
You must cut out your rotten thoughts today. You must cut out the thought of impossibility. It’s not that you can’t, it’s that you don’t. There will never be success without a change in your thinking. Only with the thoughts of God will the power of God be its result. Because you have the thoughts of man, you only give birth to the results of man. With thoughts of dogs and pigs, your results are of dogs and pigs. You’re limited because you start with thoughts of man. In God’s thoughts, there is no limit. In whose likeness were you created?
